So, we're in the thick of it. We're right smack dab in the middle of summer and it's, in a word, HOT...Am I right? You may feel like your makeup is literally sliding off your face these days. Well, that's because it probably is. BWAH! If you don't wear the right kind of makeup or at least protect it with a product that can help prevent the dreaded makeup melt off, you're just wasting your time applying it on sweltering summer days. Never fear however. I'm here to tell you how to save your summer makeup! And it's not hard at all...
My first and easiest tip is to use a makeup setting spray, namely the Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray. This miracle product not only keeps your makeup looking nice and fresh, but it helps give you a matte look versus a greasy one.
And on that note, an oil free sunscreen can go a long way in helping you avoid that slick look too. Sunscreen, use is essential all year 'round, but especially in the summer months. That being said, if you're going to be wearing makeup, you don't want an oily sunscreen situation as your base layer. Key West Aloe, for example, makes a super water resistant sunscreen!
