Most of the moms I work with could use a little pampering. They are doing a million things and given their best for all of them. Back in the day (that would be the pre-kids day) we would meet for drinks or a manicure OR BOTH and catch up on life. Things got more complicated. Kids came, work came, but the friendships lived on. But like most women, we don't get the chance to celebrate those friendships.
When I got the opportunity to host a pamper party for a few of my friends I jumped into planning mode. I decided to plan a tea party with manicures as the main feature. I set up a mini at-home nail experience with Sally Hansen® Miracle Gel™. I brewed up some of my favorite flavors of Kusmi tea, got some tasty bites from One Girl Cookie and brought in fresh flowers.
All the ladies got to pick a color of the new Sally Hansen® Miracle Gel™ and then get an at home manicure. We all had so many stories to swap and being able to relax and catch up was a huge treat. Now that school is back in session, we had a few precious hours to multi-task with mani and munchies.
Speaking of treats, can I talk about my love of the lemon square. I'm officially over the macaron. This is the year of the lemon square!
