Olay Facial Hair Remover

Was I the only one that thought Nair had cornered the market on depilatory hair removers? At a P&G event a few weeks ago, I was introduced to Olay's Smooth Finish Facial Hair Removal Duo and have been testing it out.

How I envy the Nordic women who don't have to worry about dark body and facial hair. For me, more Portuguese heritage gave me olive skin and also some downsides. Laser hair removal has been great on my legs, but I'm hesitant to try it on my face. Olay has made facial hair removal easier than ever—without telltale signs of redness and irritation. It's easy to use with a simple applicator and the product is very effective. And it smells better than Nair too.

Here's how it works:
STEP 1: Prepare the skin:Apply Skin Guarding Balm.
Lightly swipe the Skin Guarding Balm only once across the middle of the areas you wish to treat. Important: apply a thin layer to ensure effective hair removal.
Massage Skin Guarding Balm into your face for about 20 seconds in a circular motion.

STEP 2: Remove the Hair:
Apply Hair Removal Cream.
Squeeze the Hair Removal Cream onto your fingertip (small grape size for upper lip treatment) and immediately smooth over the area to be treated (on top of the balm), covering it completely with a thick layer. Do not rub it in. Use only with the Skin Guarding Balm provided.
Wash hands immediately and thoroughly. Wait for 6-8 minutes. Leave on longer for thicker hair, but do not exceed 10 minutes.
After 6-8 minutes, gently remove cream with a tissue or cotton ball (do not rub excessively). Rinse your skin thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry.

Tip: 48 hours prior to use test on a small patch of skin.
