Preppy colors are big for fall! At the Ralph Lauren Girl's Fashion Show yesterday, Essie nails was giving the little fashionistas manicures that coordinated with what we saw on the runway. What was hot? Check out these nifty nail looks.
The preppy palette: navy, hunter green and regal red are key. If you aren't a nail artist and capable of painting horseshoes and stripes on your nails consider adding a contrasting nail. Spice things up with a little animal print such as "don't chettah on me" on one or two of your digits. My girlie girl couldn't resist adding a little pink into the mix. She alternated--pink, red, pink, red.

But for my girls, a manicure is a must. They only get them on special occasions. This was a big deal.
