Hot Hairstyles for Spring and Summer

Spring is here and summer is on its way. That means the weather is starting to warm up and eventually it will be hot hot hot. All those warm temps could make you want to just throw your hair up and forget about any cute hairstyles. I get it. I do. I hate it when my hair falls in my face when it's hot out. That being said, I'm here to help. I rounded up a few hot hairstyles for spring and summer that will help you get that hair off your face AND look crazy cute at the same time!

braid within a braid

Braids, braids and more braids...Braids are my absolute favorite easy hairstyle. And they're definitely my go-to hairstyle for spring and summer. As long as you don't get overly complicated, pretty much anyone can put together pretty braids. This braid within a braid style is super simple, for example, and so much more interesting than an ordinary ponytail. In fact, it's pretty much always my theme park look. If you've ever walked around Disney when it's in the nineties you know that the last thing you want is sweaty hair all over your neck. Haha!

Say yes to bobby pins...Bobby pins had a real moment last year, but just because the craze is over doesn't mean you should put away those useful little tools. Keep a couple handy in your bag for when you just need to get those bangs off your forehead. That's a great tip for you fellow mamas of little girls too! I keep extra hair-styling goodies like hair bands and bobby pins in my makeup bag for both my daughter and myself. You never know when you may need one!

summer braid style

Side braid it up...Have a festival to go to? Perhaps you have brunch with the girls on the books or even a hot date night ahead? This pretty side braid style is just what you need to dress up your warm weather hair. It's a little different than your typical side braid and pretty darn youthful looking too! It's important to note that you need bobby pins for this one too. See? I told you not to put them away!

So, what hot hairstyles for spring and summer are you excited to try out in the coming seasons? Are you all about braids still too?!
