DIY Hair Mask

I believe that the less unnatural ingredients that we put in or on our bodies, the better...So, I've been having a blast experimenting in the kitchen with making my own DIY beauty treatments lately.

Once I starting tooling around with different recipes, I didn't want to stop! There are SO many easy beauty DIYs out there that take no time at all to whip up and will leave you looking your best! Who knew? This girl, is now an official DIY beauty addict! Don't you want to join me?!?

For this particular DIY beauty treatment, I decided to make a hair mask. I roped my beauty junkie friend into spending a few hours sipping some vino and making a few treatments with me. She's officially on the DIY beauty train now too!

Just like skin, in the winter, hair is often dry and tends to look a bit dull, so I'm always on the hunt for ways to hydrate my tresses while amping up the shine factor. Every girl wants a shiny mane right?

Well, you're in luck! This DIY hair mask literally only requires two ingredients (that you just may have in your fridge already) and your hair should be soft and shiny after you use it...The fats in both of them are super moisturizing!

  • 1/2 avocado (Tip: Make sure your avocado is nice and ripe, so it's easily mashed.)
  • 2 tbs full fat yogurt
