This year I officially entered my mid-thirties and all of a sudden anti-aging products became a whole lot more interesting to me. I've been serious about taking care of my skin since my mid twenties. And to me that meant staying out of the sun and wearing sunscreen daily. I also exfoliated and moisturized regularly...but I didn't really start using serious anti-aging products until recently when I noticed my first few wrinkles and age spots pop up. Those teenage years spent under the hot Florida sun are catching up with me and I'm now on a mission to reverse the damage and, at the very least, prevent new damage.
I'm certain I'm not the only who would like to freeze time a bit, so I rounded up some fabulous anti-aging superstars that I've been lucky enough to test out recently.
AHAVA Time To Smooth Age Control Even Tone Moisturizer / Elemis Pro-Intense Lift Effect Night Creme / Bliss Micro-magic Microdermabrasion Treatment / Meaningful Beauty Wrinkle Smoothing Capsules / City Cosmetics City Face / Bliss Firm, Baby, Firm Anti-Aging Serum / Elemis Pro Collagen Super System / Ahava Dead Sea Osmoter Concentrate / illuMask Anti-Aging Light Therapy Mask
1. Exfoliation is so important. It gets rid of those dead skin cell that are dulling up your complexion and leaves your skin baby soft.
2. Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. These days they make moisturizers that will do things like even your skin tone, as well as provide a lifting effect for your skin.
3. Try a serum on for size. Super concentrated serums can go a long way to giving you a more youthful complexion.
4. Test out a new tool like a light therapy mask. The mask could reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles without exposure to UV rays.
