5 Ways to Pamper Yourself Every Day


I need something to look forward to every day. So, when I come across something that gives me a lift, it quickly turns into a habit. I have my afternoon tea habit. My bite of dark chocolate habit. And a few other easy luxuries that make a winter day feel cozy instead of cold. Without breaking out a box of Mallomars or the vino (not that there's anything wrong with either), here are five ways I indulge every single day.


Dark chocolate. Every afternoon I let one Dove Promise melt slowly in my mouth. Sometimes I'll eat two, but no more. The velvety, rich dark chocolate is much more satisfying than a handful of M&M's. And according to Web MD, dark chocolate can lower high blood pressure and is a powerful antioxidant.

Black tea. I drink a cup of good, dark tea every afternoon. Many cultures rely on tea for an afternoon or morning lift and, according to Web MD, tea may help with cancer, heart disease and even weight loss. I drink PG Tips, but there are a lot of great brands out there.
