Investing in a Baby Book is time and money well spent. My almost 4-year-old loves pouring over her special book and playing "remember when." I do not regret one iota of the effort that went into assembling that book. What I do regret: Not stepping it up and buying a better quality album.
For the most exquisite baby book, go to Kistner Supply. The Mother Stork's Baby Book ($135) is simply the sweetest keepsake I've seen. Sure it costs more than the freebie I got from enfamil, but oh, the illustrations and quality are divine. The heirloom book features poems and illustrations from the 1904 edition. The hardbound book is the ideal gift for a hard-to-please friend, sister-in-law or co-worker (hey, pool your money with officemates!). It includes acid-free photo corners for those priceless baby pictures and a black gel pen to record dates and memories. To sweeten the deal, Kistner Supply is offering FREE DOMESTIC SHIPPING!
Don't worry. I've got a back-up plan if you can't swing this first option. There are also delightful Boutique Baby Albums at BabySakes. There are HUNDREDS of books to pick from on this site. Prices start as low as $19.99. For smaller budget, I like the Pepperpot collection (that's what I used for my second girl).
