Earlier this month I told you about the new fall releases from Petunia Pickle Bottom, but they aren't the only new diaper bags out this season. Whether you're looking to spend a little or a lot, here are a dozen new diaper bags to entice you this season.
The Caprice (1) and Satchel (2) are two new releases from JJ Cole this season that will cost you less then $70. The Caprice has three carry options (tote, shoulder or stroller) and a total of ten pockets, but I'm drawn more to the silhouette and patterns of the Satchel that is made of a coated canvas, has 11 pockets and is a little bigger, but lighter than then Caprice. At $99, SkipHop's new Chelsea Diaper Satchel (3) just barely makes the cut for our list, but I like that it blends a chic, sleek look with all the functionality moms need. The design looks just as good and performs just as well at the park as it does grabbing lunch with your girlfriends.
On a recent trip to Babies R Us, I spotted these two cute bags by the newcomer Adelina Madelina - the It's A Breeze Diaper Backpack (4) in Storm/Lime and the I'll Handle It Hobo Diaper Bag (5) each for $79.99. I love the names, the patterns, and the bag designs - plus the bags are easy to wipe clean inside and out. Finally, DadGear released the Sport (6) messenger bag in a variety of prints for girls and guys that has their integrated quick-access wipes case and a slim profile.
In the over $100 category, we start off with three new ones from Storksak. The Tote (1) now comes in Python print [Note: Animal prints are a hot trend for fall 2013 - again. See here, here and here] The Tote is made from lightweight nylon satin, but the print makes it look structured. And while it has plenty of pockets for parenting, I also love that it can fit my laptop for my days of writing. Next up is the Bobby (2) available in black and putty, shown here. I've been seeing this quilted style everywhere (here, here, and in a way, here). Finally, the Kate (3) now comes in this stone/black leather combo making it look appropriate for day or night, school drop-off or date night.
I covered most of Petunia's fall releases here, but they also make some exclusive prints like this Boxy Backpack in Sightseeing in Chatalet (4) for Nordstrom and other exclusives for Pottery Barn Kids. Somehow I have missed 7A.M. Enfant until now, but I recently saw someone carrying their new Voyage bag (5) and the woman swooned over the lightweight bag, zip-open design and the see-through mesh interior pockets so you can actually see what you've shoved into your diaper bag. Finally, if you have cash to burn, you might take a look at this new glazed leather Danzo diaper bag carried exclusively by Barney's New York - the East/West Diaper Bag (6). I love its simple design and zip-open sides - it will cost you a pretty penny, but the bag can definitely last you through baby and beyond.
How much as you willing to spend on a diaper bag? And what's your favorite fall diaper bag release?
