Tory Burch - you may not know her, but you certainly know the design. It's hard to miss the shiny gold buckle connected to thousands of ladies'?? shoes. This Spring, we are going to be seeing a lot less of that logo (thanks Tory!) and a lot more apparel. We got an exclusive look at the Pre-Fall 2011 Collection and here is what we fancy.
The collection is inspired by Parisian chic with global influence. Texture and prints mix together- stripes, florals, ikat and heart-motif-in dresses, blouses, jackets and shorts. Fabrics of silk, wool, suede, rayon and cotton cover a palette of neutral colors.
Everything is meant to be layered, making it easy to wear in the Spring and Summer and then into the Fall. Love the stripe on stripe effect and the versatility of the pieces.
Trendy accessories, like this bangle bracelet constructed of braided rope and beads and connected with a gold claspe to prevent moving (ideal for small wrists) is perfect to liven-up any outfit.
And shoes, let us not forget the sole of our feet and the soul of our wardrobe. Think of Birkenstock for comfort, wedge for style, print for design and voila, you have the Aran Minta shoe by Tory. Also available in taupe, brown and navy blue.
Also great for your shoe collection are these flats - beach or lunch anyone?
Looking for that last layering element to keep you warm in the early fall? This trench coat with a removable faux fur collar will do the trick.
And finally, we covet the cross body bag for a simple, stylish and "better for the back" mode of transporting all of our goods.
The collection launches mid-May in stores worldwide. For you New Yorker'??s expect a new store on the Upper East Side in September.
