Art museums can be daunting for kids--often they are big and boring. Galleries offer a much more intimate experience. Sure, parents are going to have to monitortheirchildren more carefully, but an outing to an art gallery is an excellent way to expose your family to art in small doses.
FashionistaIsaac Mizrahi curated an especially colorful show called Summer Pictures for the Julie Saul Gallery. The group exhibition features Donna Chung, Jane Freilicher, Maureen Gallace, MairaKalman Adrianne Lobel, Lisa Sanditz, Wayne Thiebaud and Julia Sherman. You can view the complete kid-friendly pictures here.
