MoMA Design Store Fall Children's Author Series

The MoMA Design Store continues its Children’s Author Series with a fall schedule of free readings and activities on the lower level of the SoHo store. The SoHo location at 81 Spring Street was redesigned in 2012 to create an interactive space for children to explore the store's selection of children's toys, games, and books intended to inspire creativity and introduce children to art.

The new series of events begins on Saturday, September 21st with award-winning author and illustrator Frank Viva reading from his new book Young Frank, Architect, the first storybook published by the Museum of Modern Art. A book signing and drawing demonstration will follow the reading and children in attendance will have the chance to win a signed, original pencil sketch from the book.

All events are free and take place on select Saturday mornings from 11 a.m.–12 p.m. Books will be available for purchase and signing.Check out the complete schedule below.
