Ali Landry has always struck me as a very hands on mama. When you see photos of her out and about, she's usually with her kiddos and they look like such a happy family! Chatting with her about her new venture, Favored.by, an app that serves as a resource for moms to search for and find the favorite products of fellow parents, totally confirmed my theory. She came up with the concept because she felt like a resource like this was lacking for moms like her.
When I asked Ali how moms in different stages of parenting could make use of the app, she responded, "For a new mom who is expecting, it is such an easy tool. We’re going to have a scanning aspect soon too. For an expectant mom, it saves them so much time. For a new mom, products are constantly changing. It’s a great way to discover new products. For my older child I use it for birthday presents, backpacks, toys and games."
Basically this app is all about, "Moms helping moms. Parents helping parents." I think we can all relate to that right?

And before I go, I must mention Ali's Red Carpet Safety Event. After reading about a child that was ejected from his car seat, Ali became very concerned about car seat safety and even became a Child Passenger Safety technician. Three years ago she established this event and it's still going strong...Ali had this to say about it, " This our 3rd annual event and we’ve expanded to all areas of safety. It’s solely to raise awareness. When you know better you do better."
The 3rd Annual Red Carpet Safety Event is tomorrow, September 28th, in Los Angeles from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM PST. If you would like to go, visit HERE for ticket information.
