Animal prints are all the rage. The trick for spring is to make them not look too heavy. This week, we're teaming up with Fraas to show how to lighten up the look. When you think about How to Style a Scarf you don't have to make it complicated.

This is a classic style--long with fringe at the end. It's a great place to begin your scarf experimentation. Once you get comfortable, you can really have fun in your wardrobe with a scarf or two.

Fraas has been making history with scarves since 1880. Their collections include classic styles made of elegant silk, precious cashmere, trend-setting fashion blends, sporty wool or Cashmink. When the company reached out to me with this spring collection I immediately replied yes. I already had a look in mind.

How to Style a Scarf

I picked up these fun pants at LOFT (click here to see a similar pair) and they needed a touch of romance. The flowing fabric of the pants needs to be paired with equally unstructured pieces. I added a top from Barney's CO-OP (for those of you who do not live by a CO-OP my sincere apologies--they have the best t-shirt collection). Check out the back of the top...cool isn't it (whoops, my tag was showing)!

It all started with a scarf. I wore this to a bunch of fashion meetings in NYC. That's a great part of my job, I never have to dress fussy. By expressing my style, I am advertising Momtrends.com. So experimenting is all a part of my job. For more scarf inspiration check out this video:
