Spring is here, and with it comes warmer temps and sunnier days. In our house, that means the kiddos want to play outside and explore even more than usual. And since I live to nurture their sense of wonder, I’m always trying to think of new ways we can delve into the hometown fun our own city has to offer. And that exploration can start very close to home. Simply heading out into your own neighborhood can lead to loads of spring fun. My daughter, for instance, is starting to learn how to ride her bike on our street thanks to the Pure Cycle Balance Bike. And while she loves being girly, it can be tough to go bikin’ in skirts and dresses, so a skort look from Pulla Bulla makes for the perfect play clothes!
Spring Ready Play Clothes
And once you’ve exhausted all your immediate neighborhood has to offer, why not head to a local attraction like the zoo? We have passes to our zoo, Lowry Park Zoo, and it serves as a great little afternoon getaway destination. Whether we’re exploring all the animals or playing in the water area, I can always count on the zoo wearing out my little Tasmanian Devils. Haha!
And we always make sure we’re dressed for the occasion. Yep, play clothes again! Easy breezy sundresses, like this gorgeous print number from Blue Ginger, help keep my daughter nice and cool, while a tankini, rash top and classic boardie shorts from Snapper Rock are perfect for water play! I love that their swimwear is UV50+ and the Midnight Palm print is too cute for words. I’m always a sucker for coordinating sibling styles…even when we’re talking play clothes. Who’s with me?!
