Friday Finds: Ideas for Children’s Birthday Parties

My daughter is going to be 5 next week! She is so excited for her upcoming party and I am excited that it is not at our house. For the last 4 years we have had it there, and while it is fun to have everyone over, I am also overwhelmed by the cooking, clean-up and aftermath. While we are having it at a place this year, I do need to bring in decor and party favors. Here are some ideas that have caught my eye this week.

1. Salsa Pie (love the name) has some cute DIY favor idea that features a sack filled with crafts attached to some crayons. Simple and to the point – this is one that I am really excited to make.

2. Kids Party Hub has some cool ideas for boys featuring everything you need to create a construction-themed birthday party.

3.  One Charming Party takes about food and healthy options by presenting a colorful medley of fruits for the kids.

4. Ladies Kitty is sharing all about ideas for your little one’s first birthday. I love how she breaks down the budget, theme, menu, music and more.
