Cooking Easy with Campbell’s Skillet Sauces

Nicole recently mentioned the ease at which you can prepare and service the new Campbell’s Skillet Sauces (read more about her experience here) as a way to make adult meals delicious and exciting in only 15 minutes! I also had the opportunity to cook with it at the incredible Wine and Food Festival in New York City. During my cooking demos, I had the chance to cook alongside with Campbells’ chefs Todd Lyons and Robert Kristof. Both chefs introduced me as their sous chefs (which I thought was a lot of fun) as I explained to our audience exactly how to create a meal using these innovative skillet sauces.  Essentially all I had was four ingredients (oil, protein, the sauces and rice) where I created a full dinner in 15 minutes! As much as I love food, I do miss experimenting and enjoying different flavors due to the mad dash to get dinner made for the family.

I also had the chance to chat with chef Robert, who was also involved in the development of the Skillet Sauces, and how they wanted to create a line for adults to enjoy dinner again. This means making it easy to create dinner – whether after the kids went to bed or as a no fuss (and no chopping) option.

Featuring six delicious varieties (Marsala with Mushroom and Garlic,  Scampi with White Wine and Garlic, Toasted Sesame with Garlic and Ginger, Fire Roasted Tomatoes with Red Bell Peppers and Chilies, Creamy Chipotle with Roasted Corn and Black Beans and Thai Green Curry with Lemongrass and Basil), these sauces create hearty and rich flavors where all you have to do is cook the protein and serve. It really can’t get much better than that! At the demo we served our dishes with rice, beef or chicken and here are some more meal ideas using all of the sauces.
