Snack Happy with the Sara Snacker Cookie Company

Sara Snacker Cookie Company

I can’t bake. I can cook you gourmet meals all day, but for some reason cooking and cookies aren’t the same thing. Is it in my sifting? Do I not smoosh the butter up creamy enough? Are my pinches and dashes mixed up?

When I get fresh cookies into the house, my family loses their minds. It took about 4.5 seconds for them to sniff out the packages of Sara Snacker Cookie I brought home. This “milk & cookies company” builds amazing cookies from real ingredients. You know, everything I have in my own kitchen but for some reason can’t put together to make anything edible–think eggs, whole wheat flour, chocolate, lemon, sugar. They’re all-natural (and Kosher-certified), so you know you aren’t just sugar-coating something unhealthy.

What also sets them apart from basic store-bought cookies are the flavors. Way beyond chocolate chip or oatmeal raisin, they have unique, nostalgic flavors, like a trip down memory lane to an ice cream shop when you were a kid or a camp side adventure.

It all began with the original Chipn’etzel shortbread cookie. It’s baked with potato chips and pretzel bits for a salty crunch. Taking it one step further, their dark chocolate version of the original (seen above) is a must-have with drizzles of sweet to complement the salty.

Their new crunchy S’mores cookie is our daughter’s favorite. It has wholesome crushed graham cracker, sweet marshmallows and delicious chocolate chips, just like the s’mores we make fireside. Although I tried to stop her from eating the Vanilla Milkshakes and she gave me a dirty look. They serious taste like an old-school vanilla malt from the corner store. My favorite, since I’m not a sweets fan (yes, you read that right), is the softer Lemonade Cookie, a deliciously sweet and tart cookie baked with real lemonade in each bite.

We aren’t the only new Sara fans. I got a disturbing text from our babysitter the other Date Night. She wrote that after trying the cookies I left on the counter, she was going to make her entire wedding cake out of Dark Chocolate Chipn’etzels. I wasn’t disturbed about this matrimonial munching. I was more upset that the woman was eating all my cookies!

Sara Snacker Cookies are available online at sarasnacker.com and at supermarkets and specialty retailers, as well as a recent expansion into The Fresh Market with more than 110 U.S. stores.

Momtrends was not paid for this post. We did receive samples for review purposes.
