Daya Vaidya: Fit Mom Finds

We’ve been hearing a lot of buzz about “Unforgettable” CBS’ #1 show starring Daya Vaidya. We recently had the chance to talk to Daya (one hot mama) about how she stays looking so fabulous. She’s the mom of a 2 year old and still finds a way to fit exercise into her life. We needed to find out what fuels her!

Daya has worked extensively in film and television. Her television credits include “NCIS,” Two and a Half Men, ” and “Dexter.” While you may know her face, here’s something you might not know. This beauty was born in Kathmandu, Nepal. Her family relocated to Oakland, California when she was two years old.

She studied theater and dance at UCLA. And in her sophomore year, Vaidya was accepted to the world-renowned Alvin Ailey Dance Theater of New York. After taking a year long sabbatical from UCLA to dance on scholarship, she returned to school where she changed her major to theater. She performed in more than 15 productions and went on to receive her BFA in Theater Arts with honors. Now, Daya needs to stay fit to hunt down the bad guys and that means running. Here are a few of Daya’s favorite things to keep her fit and motivated:

Because I practice yoga, run and dance, I need pants that are versatile. I love how these Lululemon Appreciation pants look and I can wear them for everything I do; including grabbing lunch after my workout. And I love this Run Swiftly top for my runs. It’s got breathable fabric that keeps you dry and the sleeves come down and cover your hands, so you don’t have to also wear gloves when the weather is cold. I also LOVE the color! And I HAVE to get this running jacket for when it gets cold. I jog 3-4X a week and need a lightweight jacket that will cut the cold, but won’t slow me down:

Thanks Daya for these fab finds from Lululemon!
