New Stokke Crusi Stroller

I’ve had the honor and privilege of testing out the first ever double stroller by Stokke, called the Crusi (check out the Momtrends recap from the Stokke launch party a few months ago).

I am definitely going to need a double stroller once baby number three comes along, since my soon-to-be middle child will only be 21 months and still takes naps. The Stokke Crusi is perfect for me – operating like the Mercedes Benz of strollers, with its wide-range of features and options making it perfect for growing families.

The Stokke Crusi is also a multitalented connection stroller, allowing you to use the stroller from birth and having the convertibility as your child grows. The Stokke Crusi is the stroller that allows your family to grow, starting off as a single stroller with a bassinet/carry cot. Then adding the Xplory & Crusi seat, your child can sit parent facing or outward facing. The seat features three positions from resting to upright high chair position, also including an adjustable footrest and comes in the highest quality of fabrics like the black melange.

Stokke strollers are known for their high seat position which brings the child up close to the parent to stimulate bonding and development. The seat is also able to fit table heights in cafes and restaurants making dining out a bit easier. Also a new feature for Stokke are the lockable swivel wheels which can be locked in the forward direction.

The sibling solution can have a couple of different options. You can have the carry cot bassinet on top with the Crusi sibling seat or the Crusi/Xplory seat on top, along with the sibling seat, which is actually the same seat as their other new stroller, The Scoot. The large basket underneath is wonderful, something the Xplory stroller lacks. Although, while having the second seat in you do lose some of the basket space.

I am fully enjoying the Stokke Crusi, as I am finding it the most compact double stroller on the market. While strolling the NYC streets, its extremely easy to push and navigate with their easy suspension four wheels. Especially in tight area places, I have no problem pushing the Crusi through.

And I must say it is quite a show stopper, as I am constantly getting stopped and questioned about my new luxe accessory. The Stokke Crusi is quite an investment piece retailing for $1249 for the single Xplory seat and base, $299.99 for the sibling seat, and $399.99 for the carry cot.
