How to Pack an Organic Gym Bag

I’ve been getting more and more intrigued by the organic community and all the products that fall into the category. The term “organic” spreads far beyond the food industry into products and companies I never knew existed.  I had NO clue that organic feminine care was a thing! It is!

As someone who regularly works out (I swim, kick box, and go to spontaneous classes around the city), having “that time of the month” can really put a damper in my, err, flow. I just want to wear my cute sweatpants. Then curl up on my bed with my fluffy pillow. Oh, and binge watch Netflix. Ever since I read an article about how exercise helps with menstrual cramps, I’ve refused to let them slow me down. (Eating healthy, organic food also helps!)

Packing my gym bag has completely changed: I went from throwing my shoes and clothes  haphazardly into it to being thoughtful about what things I need pre and post workout. Now my bag always consists of:

I love that places are starting to provide feminine care in their bathrooms, but now I prefer to use something organic like tampons and liners from Natracare. Their products are completely chlorine and plastic free. If I don’t have time to shower after a class, having the intimate wipes really saves the day.

It’s so important to hydrate before and after you do any exercise but sometimes after a swim, the last thing I want is more water. I was introduced to Uncle Matt’s fruit infused waters and fell in love. With an abundance of antioxidants and no added junk (sweeteners, flavors, preservatives, etc), you get a delicious and refreshing water that is super extra good for you. Right now you can choose from lemon, grapefruit, or orange and each one tastes great.
