Denim & Lace. They go nicely. Denim by nature is tough and rugged. Lace softens the look because it is feminine and frilly. Together they harmonize. The entire outfit (minus the accessories) is from CAbi. You’ve heard me talk about them before. It’s an at-home sales company employing many women who want the flexibility of a working from home and crave the creativity of working with fashion. It’s simple you throw a party, share your lovely taste with your friends and voila–you’re a stylist (find inspiration for throwing a great at-home party with our latest #ItsAParty feature here).
This season, CAbi has some fashions that are just irresistible. I’m wearing the needle lace shell ($98) and the Deconstructed Brett Jean ($108). Layered under the lace is the Simple Cami in white ($34). Everything is currently in stock.
As for accessories, I paired up a necklace from LOFT (it’s old, but you can find similar here) and a fabulous pair of new metallic wedge heels from DKNY. The Hara wedge sandal is currently in stores ($225).
This is something I could wear to work (I’m lucky to work in a creative field) or play. It feels fresh, boho chic and ready for fun.
Now fill me in. Have you ever shopped at a CAbi event? Would you be able to wear this to work?
This month we’ve got a fabulous contest to share. It’s a whole lot of style for one lucky blogger.
Share what youve been wearing on Monday Mingle. Monday Mingle is a fashionable collaboration between me, Kristin from BonBonRoseGirls.com and Carly from Thirtysomethingfashion.com. Each week we post about our personal style and then invite our friends to join in the fun.
