Moroccan flair was a major influence on our kitchen redesign. We opted for imported mosaic tile on the walls to set the mood. From there, we worked with our designer to craft some overlays for our stark white cabinets. With a bit of burnished metal trim and metal accents, I was pleased with the results of the cooking space. But our modern renovation ran out of steam on both budget and time.

Now a year and half later, thanks to Delta Faucet and a bit of remodeling, we’ve returned to renovation mode and I’m getting to finish off the kitchen with flair. See the pops of yellow in the top photo? I decided there wasn’t enough yellow the first time around. That’s how we jump-started the re-do. I found this image of a yellow pantry door from www.cococozy.com and shared it with my designer. We decided to add yellow pantry doors too.

Next step was the faucet. A few weeks ago we took the Inspired Living Quiz at Delta Faucets and shared our results in this post. I picked the Pilar–curvy, modern and clean.

After the faucet was selected, we I started to look for runners to put in the kitchen. The goal was to add more lemony-zest.

With a new faucet and pantry, we’ll only need a few accents like these to make the project come to life. To see more of my inspiration, visit the Pinterest #InspiredLiving board here.
