This summer we will be traveling and in between those adventures my kids will also be in camp as well as some of our everyday adventures as we exploring our backyard that is NYC. With all of those outdoor activities it the works I have to be sure to pack some essentials (snacks and diapers are a given these days), but my bag is also filled with everyday protection products such as first aid staples from Johnson & Johnson. In fact, even going to the playground can bring on an injury where more than 200,000 children get injured on playgrounds each year (in America – according to Johnson & Johnson. Since we aren’t going to be scared of the idea of scraps we have to be prepared should something happen.
During the celebration of the 125th anniversary of the first aid kit a few weeks ago, I learned more about this iconic product and how it was created to offer railroad workers relief from injury. Today,Johnson & Johnson continues to offer products to treat and heal, and they have even partnered with Safe Kids Worldwide to focus on providing a healthy future for everyone. This also includes a first aid kit that is filled with items like gauze pads, Neosporin, benadryl, non-stick pads and band-aids. Johnson and Johnson also recognizes that everyones needs are different where they offer a ‘build your own first aid kit’ option at retailers like Target, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid and more. For me this includes Hello Kitty Band-aids, Neosporin or Neo-to-Go, and I even have a few items for myself with Fricition Block, Visine Eye Relief, Cynthia Rowley Band-aids and Neosporin Lip Protection.
Whether you are on-the-go or in the comfort of your home, it is crucial to be prepared should anything happen, and the First Aid Kit from Johnson & Johnson will ensure that you are always ready for all of life’s bumps and bruises.
