Fall Fashion Trends

A little leopard goes a long way! In  this case, it’s really a more like a little leopard lasts a really long time. I bought this coat in 1997! Is that vintage? Must be. I spotted it in the window of an Anthropologie in Chicago and I couldn’t live without it. Good, good, purchase.

Every year I bring this coat out in the brisk fall weather and it never fails to catch the eye of my friends. I was heading out on this particular evening to celebrate my 10th anniversary of meeting my lovely husband. He loved the outfit. And I had a ton of fun shooting this the day after our first snow in NYC! I kind of have a feeling the girls will be eyeing  this coat soon.  So I’ll enjoy it before it goes MIA to my daughters’ closet.

I pulled this look together thinking of romance and a way to show off the new tights I got in the mail from TightsPlease.com–a wonderful site for legwear. The Chevron Ribbed Tights are from Levante. They were/are fabulous. An incredible texture–subtle yet sassy. You’ve got to check out the leggings options. The lovely ladies at TightsPlease sent these and a super pair of Falke knee highs–the quality of those is equally exquisite.

What else? The shoes. Ah, the shoes, these booties are made for walking. They are from Stuart Weitzman and are divine. The Stella & Dot Bello Bangle my Marc Jacobs watch, plus a scarf from Theodora & Callum round out the accessories. The Impact Colorblock Ponte Skirt is from Brooklyn Industries.
