A little leopard goes a long way! In  this case, it’s really a more like a little leopard lasts a really long time. I bought this coat in 1997! Is that vintage? Must be. I spotted it in the window of an Anthropologie in Chicago and I couldn’t live without it. Good, good, purchase.

Every year I bring this coat out in the brisk fall weather and it never fails to catch the eye of my friends. I was heading out on this particular evening to celebrate my 10th anniversary of meeting my lovely husband. He loved the outfit. And I had a ton of fun shooting this the day after our first snow in NYC! I kind of have a feeling the girls will be eyeing  this coat soon.  So I’ll enjoy it before it goes MIA to my daughters’ closet.

I pulled this look together thinking of romance and a way to show off the new tights I got in the mail from TightsPlease.com–a wonderful site for legwear. The Chevron Ribbed Tights are from Levante. They were/are fabulous. An incredible texture–subtle yet sassy. You’ve got to check out the leggings options. The lovely ladies at TightsPlease sent these and a super pair of Falke knee highs–the quality of those is equally exquisite.

What else? The shoes. Ah, the shoes, these booties are made for walking. They are from Stuart Weitzman and are divine. The Stella & Dot Bello Bangle my Marc Jacobs watch, plus a scarf from Theodora & Callum round out the accessories. The Impact Colorblock Ponte Skirt is from Brooklyn Industries.

Now what about you lovelies? What have you been wearing? I hope you’ll join us today for Monday Mingle. It’s the day where I team up with my fashionable friends, Jill from Glamamom.com and Kristin from BonBonRoseGirls.com to talk style. Today I get to play host. And as a fun little treat, I’ve got a fun little fashion notebook to give away.

I never would’ve guessed that coat was from 1997! Leopard truly is timeless. Loving the colorblock look too, so chic. I’m jealous of your snow. A northeast girl living in Texas sure does miss it sometimes. :(

You look great in that HOT coat! Love a bit of leopard…anytime:)

I am too, trying to find that balance between fun fashion psots and the devastation that surrounds my shore towns….things have to get back to some sort of normal, I am just making a commitment to keep Sandy updates alive on my blog…and continue to support efforts here in town.

    Best to you

It’s all a balance–tomorrow I am hosting my 3rd diaper drive for families in need. The devastation isn’t over, but I also want to be upbeat.

Oh my goodness, Nicole! That coat is divine!!! I have a very powerful addiction to all things leopard, as well as Anthro, so this would be a match made in Heaven for me. Thank you so much for hostessing today, Pretty Lady!!! ~Sarah

    • http://momtrends.com Nicole

You are so welcome, fortunately there isn’t an Anthro in Brooklyn or I’d be in trouble. Takes a subway to get close to one!
