Our dear friends over at Trumpeting Media hosted a wonderful event for Shot@Life foundation last week. The event consisted of parents and kids enjoying face painting, balloon artists, arts and crafts, dancing and much more!
Shot@Life, part of the United Nations Fondation educates, connects and empowers Americans to champion vaccines, which is one of the most cost-effective ways to save the lives of children in developing countries. The campaign rallies the American public, members of Congress, and civil society partners that together, we can save a child’s life every 20 seconds by expanding access to vaccines. By encouraging Americans to learn about, advocate for, and donate to vaccines, Shot@Life aims to decrease vaccine-preventable childhood deaths and give every child a shot at a healthy life.
Shot@Life just launched a mobile app at the Social Good Summit on September 22nd. The new Shot@Life app called Moments Matter, available on Apple and Android, helps parents tell the story of their child’s ‘firsts,’ by capturing photos and chronicling childhood moments from 0 – 5 through the milestone tracker. Not only is the app wonderful for us parents, but it also helps to build awareness about the Shot@Life campaign and the life-saving vaccines that can help give children around the world a shot at a healthy life.
By donating only $20 you are giving a child a lifetime of immunity.
