The Burt’€™s Bees Raise Your Burt’€™s Contest is as simple as uploading a photo and showing your love for the brand. Here’€™s how it works: Upload your photos in one or more of the eight categeories. Then fans will vote on their favorite photos in each category. The top vote getters in each category become the semifinalists. Semi finalists submit a video explaining why they deserve to be ‘€œThe Natural Champion’€ From there, Burt’€™s Bees will pick the top three finalists and fans will vote to crown ‘€œThe Natural Champion.’€

If you’€™re one of the 40 semi-finalists, you’€™ll receive 100 personalized lip balms. The top three finalists will be featured in the 2013 Burt’€™s Bees Lip Balm Campaign, and one Natural Champion will stay in an eco-friendly 5-star hotel and spa for a weekend extravaganza of pampering, products and a private concert at the Burt’€™s Bees campus for them and three friends.

Submissions are being accepted until October 2 at 11:59:59 p.m. eastern time. Follow contest updates on the Burt’s Bees Facebook page or on Twitter with the #RaiseYourBurts hashtag.

    Lower your Burts and toss it out. I honesty don’t get how a hard, gritty lip balm like Burt’s owned by Clorox can garner so much attention. There are so many better lip balms such as Buddha Balm on the market. Try them and you will never go back!

    So Burt’s finally deems us mere ‘bloggers’ worthy of their time, interesting. While I love the brand, I was not very impressed with their responses to bloggers many years ago, seems like perhaps they finally have a staff that ‘gets’ the ‘social’ aspect to social media! :)
