Beautiful clothes for kids…they aren’t always that easy to find. Glitter, graphics and gimmicks, those are easy to locate. But pretty clothes with classic appeal, that’s what get’s our hearts fluttering. Last week we attended the Oscar de la Renta Childrenswear Spring 2013 Collection and it knocked our socks off.
From gorgeous prints to seersucker essentials, we think these clothes are deserving of a spin on the runway and room in your closet. We had front row seats for the show–and the models were darling. They scooted, skipped and twirled in the collection. The girls in particular lit up the catwalk in the twirly dresses. The line was dreamed up by Oscar and Catherine Monteiro de Barros.
And here’s another bit of ODLR fun, check out the blog of Marissa Kraxberger. She’s a mom of two and the Head of Creative at ODLR and has wonderful taste. If you love this collection and the ODLR aesthetic we think you’ll want to swing by her blog www.georgeandruby.com
And of course, like any good runway show the celebrities came out. Mariska Hartigay brought her little girl to see the show. Here she is chatting with Oscar de la Renta after the show.
