Delicious Snacks from Honey Maid

Our daughter starts kindergarten this month (*sigh* then *sob* then *smile*). She’€™s gonna have a little locker, a little plaid uniform, a little Hello Kitty pencil box. Such a big girl.

Something else that’€™s big. The big problem of finding snacks. We’€™re kinda over Goldfish. We don’€™t do gummy fruit snacks. Triscuits only go so far unless you can give a tasty cheese spread with them. But she doesn’€™t have a little fridge. This isn’€™t a dorm room, people’€¦it’€™s kindergarten. Hence the big problem.

Enter Grahamfuls, the newest offering from the go-to snack king Honey Maid. These snack pack essentials are made with 100% whole grain Honey Maid graham crackers (packed with 10g whole grains per serving) and contain real honey. They’re also a good source of calcium.

The wavy long crackers are crunchy and the creme fillings flavorful, just the right size for hungry bellies who need a mid-day boost during school. They come in three tasty varieties’€”Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter & Chocolate, and Banana Vanilla Crème. She loves the peanut butter one, and the combo one isn’t too sickly sweet, which can sometimes happen with kid’s chocolate snacks (maybe it’s because they don’t use any high fructose corn syrup). I’ve already hidden the banana one somewhere that no one can find it. That one is just for me. Sorry.

And in true graham cracker style, we’ll be bringing the PB and chocolate ones camping with us this weekend. Smearing a marshmallow warm and gooey from the campfire on this thing I’m guessing will be divine. Maybe after that I’ll also hide the peanut butter and chocolate box. I can’t promise anything.

Honey Maid Grahamfuls are available at local grocery or superstores for a suggested retail price of $4.19.

and i bet the banana ones would be great as a base for vanilla ice cream and fresh bananas for a terrific dessert? maybe with some hot fudge sauce?
