Shopping for a cause…it’s just a good idea. So many of us like pretty things, but we don’t like the guilt associated with consuming. When you can support a great organization such as Baby Buggy while scoring chic clothing, it’s a little easier to whip out the credit card.
Tonight I joined fellow Friends of Baby Buggy for a night of style and fun. In honor of the annual Fashion’s Night Out event in NYC, Carolina Herrera teamed up with Baby Buggy. The event, debuted the CH Kids bracelet for Baby Buggy (see photo above) and featured great kid-centric entertainment in a gorgeous setting on Madison Avenue including magic shows, balloon animals and face painting.
I joined up with friends, Liz Gumbinner (www.coolmompicks.com) and Lyss Stern (Diva Moms) to support the cause. And if you are wondering, I picked the green bracelet.
We’re posing with the creative goody bags–coloring/art projects for kids in the shape of a trendy tote. For the grown ups there were snacks, cocktails and great clothing and accessories. the big trend of the night? The Carolina Herrera limited edition leather wrap bracelets ($80). There were three colors–green, navy and red with 100% of proceeds being donated directly to Baby Buggy.
While I sipped, I also toured the fall CH collection for kids. Look at the loveliness:
