Staying active is an important part of a kids life. My daughter has recently taken to gymnastics and dance, and the general running around that she loves so much.
The right athletic gear is also important for movement, breathability and function, and recently she has been wearing apparel from ivivva. This fresh new brand from lululemon provides dance-inspired, cross-functional athletic apparel specifically for young girls.
While looking through the collection I really loved the vibrant colored clothing featuring tanks, sports bras, jackets, shorts, pants, skirts and dresses that are perfect for dance class, gymnastics, ice-skating, or just having fun. As the sister brand to lululemon athletica, ivivva products are similar in quality, function, and technical design, but are designed for a younger generation of athletes with fun patterns and functionality that is perfect for the modern girl.
My daughter tested out the tumblin’ tank ii and the rhythmic short ii that were both very stretchy, soft and snug for maximum movement. Featuring luon fabric, the tank includes a Coolmax shelf liner that wicks away moisture, flat seams and raceback strapes that are available in fun colors like pink, caribe, pow pink, kayak blue and much more! The shorts are also wonderful for movement and include a four-way stretch and a wide, smooth waistband with no annoying tags that my daughter remarked didn’t dig into her back. We also use them for comfy pajamas and they make for fun loungewear on lazy Sunday’s.
Girls need the right gear when they want to love and ivivva found a way to combine functionality, style and function in a unique line that kids will love and parents will wish was made in their size.
Here are some of my favorite pieces from the line:
