Fun Fashions for Kids from Panda by Bonpoint

We are loving the new collaboration for fall called Hi Panda by Bonpoint. Bonpoint, an iconic Parisian childrenswear line recently collaborated with Chinese contemporary artist Ji-Ji on a limited-edition collection featuring pajamas, t-shirts and notebooks available for babies, children, older girls and their mothers.

The pandas were created by Ji-Ji to represent the social symbols of new China in the early 2000s.  Featured in the ‘€œChina Design Now‘€ exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum in 2008, the ‘€œHi Panda’€ exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo in 2010, and most recently the ‘€œWho are you Peter Pan?’€ exhibition at the Espace Culturel Louis Vuitton in 2011.  Ji Ji also designed the scenography for the UGC Villa at the Cannes Film Festival this year.

Available this September 2012, the capsule collection was created by Christine Innamorato, Bonpoint’€™s Artistic Director, takes the celebrated panda and gives it that extra level of cuteness ‘€“ adorning them with Bonpoint’€™s emblematic signature cherries!  The brand is also loved by celebrity moms such as Victoria Beckham, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner, Katie Holmes and Kate Moss thanks to their playful and carefree designs.
