New mom and pop singer, Jessica Simpson recently launched a fun maternity collection that will hit Destination Maternity, Motherhood Maternity and select Macy’s stores this September 14th, 2012.
At a recent launch of the line at Destination Maternity, I had the chance to check out some the styles while enjoying a healthy morning treat from the Soft Serve Fruit Co. I loved checking out the modern line that included a mix of bohemian and fashion-forward pieces with a flowing cape, floral dresses, and leopard pants that are also comfortable for a mom-to-be and her expanding belly.
‘It was such a great experience to design a collection with Destination Maternity; the line is full of fashionable styles that make you look and feel great!” Simpson said, ‘You want to wear clothes that are flattering to your baby bump; you want to show your bump off.’
The line also includes a mixture of vibrant colors, unique patterns, and contemporary separates including jackets, blazers and chunky relaxed sweaters and essential knits that gives the collection a cool, relaxed vibe. The styles are designed to accentuate the baby bump, while maintaining the ultimate in stylish comfort. There are also signature denim in a variety of washes and leggings that feature Destination Maternity’s Secret Fit Belly, a patented elastic waistband that hugs your belly during all stages of pregnancy and after the baby is born.
