Giveaway: Willa Skincare Bundle

We have been loving the Willa skincare line, a natural skincare line for tweens (Read our reviews herehere and here). Developed by 11-year old Willa and her mom Christy Prunier, the line was created after Christy, who only used ‘€œbabyish’€ skincare products aka super gentle ones, realized that their were no products out there that Willa could love and Christy could trust. They decided to collaborate and create a natural line that will appeal to the sensibility of young girls with cute and chic packaging as well products that help girls establish simple skincare routines for a lifetime of healthy skin.

This includes includes 17 products such as their Fresh willa Foaming Face Wash,  the willa Cucumber Face Mask, willa Lipgloss, and Acne Spot Treatement Click Pen that are all paraben free, proplyene glycol free, sulfate free, DEA free and phthalate free. Perfect for back-to-school as we teach our girls the importance of healthy skin care routines!

Win It! We are giving away a bundle of Willa products including the willa travel set (which includes face wash and moisturizer), the smile shimmer in clear and the fresh face mask. To enter, tell me what what is best you learned about taking care of your skin in the comments section.

The best thing I learned about skincare is to take your time with it, stay hydrated & always get substantial rest. With those tools, you can always beam with beauty…without them, it’s an uphill battle.

The best way to keep your skin looking clear and radiant is to wash your face morning and night. Make sure all your makeup comes off before you go to sleep because it’ll cause your pores to clog up and then you will see your face will start breaking out. Drinking lots of water will flush your skin out and keep it nice and clear. Also make sure you get enough sleep! If you don’t get enough sleep, your body will start breaking out from exhaustion, stress, etc.

Moisturizers are a must to combat oily skin! Before I used moisturizer, my skin would create extra oil to replace the moisture I stripped off when cleaning my face. Plus, I learned to keep my hands off my face during the day and always wash everything off before bed.

I learned from Kimberly Snyder’s book the Beauty Detox the importance of being well-rested and taking time to slow down if you really want to have glowing skin.

Sunscreen is key. Even if you have sun damage or age spots your skin can be repaired with a good regimen but can easily revert back a damaged state in the sun so cover up girls! You still get Vit D wearing sunscreen.

Ingredient number two for best skin is hydration. Drinking water is best but most any fluids do the trick, mix a dash of POM juice or a drop of lemon or lime and turn your water into flavorful. Lemon in particular is refreshing, cleansing, and jump starts your metabolism.
