We have been scouting brands for back-to-school, and recently discovered Lucky Puppy, a brand that creates adorable onesies, tees, dresses, and hoodies for babies and kids.
Created by Sandi Hochman who combined her love of dogs with fashion. As a self-professed “dog mom,” she realized their was no brand out there that appeal to dog lovers and that kids and puppies seemed like a natural match. She then took this concept to the next level to help dogs in need through the Grey Muzzle Organization. As she stated on her websitea “A percentage of sales is donated to select dog organizations to help make every doggie a Lucky Puppy.”
For kids, we tested out the Lucky Puppy Dress, a simple pink dress with a cute heart paw symbol on the bottom. In an oversaturated market of children’s clothing that is way overdesigned, I really loved the use of one color and a clean and fun symbol that girls can enjoy and parents will love thanks to its flexbile and breathable materials. Kids will also love their collection of t-shirts with some of our favorites being the Pirate – Charcoal – Burnout tee, the Dish Thermal for winter and their Word Find tees.
The line also includes some cute onesies with the signature Lucky Puppy symbols in fun colors like yellow and red and two-piece t-shirts and shorts. We also love their collection of hats, jewelry, and gift sets that make it very easy to locate the best finds for a new baby.
A caring company that both admires and respects dogs is an amazing model for a modern brand to showcase their fashionable clothing for kids while also having a heart and using their company as a platform for change.
