Snack Healthy. Snack Crunchies.

My daughter asks me to buy potato chips all the time. My answer is always, “Sorry, potato chips aren’t good for you.” I’m not getting my kids in the habit of crunching on potato chips. No way. The idea sends a shiver down my spine.

But, how about a crunchy snack that has no trans fat, added sugar, preservatives or too much salt? How about a crunchy snack that’s almost as healthy as a bowl of fruit or vegies? Yes, please!

Crunchies are freeze dried fruits and vegetables that are fun to eat because they’re crunchy and yummy. The fruit and vegetables used for Crunchies are picked and frozen within 24 hours of picking. Then, refrigerator vacuumed to remove 97% of the moisture. The process leaves the fruit and vegies with practically all their original nutrients. (By the way, this isn’t the case for most dried fruit!)

Crunchies come in resealable bags that are perfect for picnics, car rides, beach trips, day trips or keeping in your purse or diaper bag. Fruit flavors include strawberries, raspberries, berry mix, tropical fruits, mango, apple, to name a few. Vegetable flavors include corn, edamame, roasted vegetables and more.

Crunchies are also available in lunchbox sizes! Find out more at Crunchies.

Momtrends was not paid for this post. I did get to sample Crunchies and I’m crunching them right now!
