Rachelle from Kenziepoo

Just one look at Kenziepoo and you know you’ve struck blog reading gold. Rachelle has a fashion forward vision that is chic, Scandinavian and modern. She gravitates towards white rooms with pops of color and unique details. Feast your eyes on Rachelle’s daughter’s bedroom…

The Ferm Living wallpaper provides a neutral, graphic backdrop. I love the light-colored wood of the almost home-made looking toddler bed (from Kalon Studios) and the whimsical bunny lamp and pillows. The white floors keeps the room looking fresh and airy and the dark colors in the pouf and artwork are sophisticated and unexpected.

Rachelle had the desk made for the room in wood that coordinates with the bed. It provides plenty of space for her daughter’s crafts and, one day, for homework. She also chose to use colored tape to hang the artwork, instead of frames, which looks spontaneous and fun.

Below is Rachelle’s original mood board for the room. She mixed crafty elements with quirky and modern. I love how her mind works! It definitely doesn’t look like she bought everything from one store. She created a playful, creative, soothing space that is perfect for a child. Or anyone. Check out Rachelle’s blog, Kenziepoo, for more fabulous decor and stylish clothes for kids.
