Yankee Candle: Holiday Traditions and New Christmas Scents

Every Christmas, my mom placed a heaping bowl of cinnamon potpourri on the coffee table. I don’t know what brand she used, but it managed to infuse the entire house with that spicy, cozy scent. Now that I’m decorating my own house for the holidays, I burn cinnamon candles to give my house that familiar Christmas feeling. But there are so many more scents that celebrate the holidays.

Yankee Candle offers a variety of holiday candles; traditional holiday scents and incredible new scents, destined to create new holiday memories.

Yankee Candle’s Holiday 2011 Vintage Collection features an old-fashioned greeting card on every jar. With the card right on the candle, these make an ideal gift for a friend, family member, teacher or someone you want to thank for their hard work all year. With traditional scents like Vintage Berries, a classic blend of berries, Heritage Pine, the scent of a live Christmas Tree, and Nostalgic Snow, minty and delicious like a candy cane, these are candles that are impossible not to love.

Yankee Candle’s New Holiday 2011 Collection offers three new updated holiday scents that are ideal for creating new traditions. Cherries on Snow was inspired by the scent of fresh snow with cherries and almonds. Christmas Rose smells like roses and a hint of pine, a feminine holiday smell that is romantic and delicate. Mountain Berry is a walk through a wintery woods with current, rosemary and red berries.
