46 Mommas Stand Up to Cancer

When it all comes down to it – hair, fashion and clothes means nothing when faced with a disease like cancer, which is why we are so proud to stand behind incredible causes like the 46 Mommas. This group of 46 fearless women are raising awareness about children’s cancer through their “Shave for the Brave” campaign. Through this amazing campaign, the Mommas are heading to Washington DC on September 21st to shave their heads with their children who have fought or are currently fighting cancer.

This annual event (last year the Mommas were in LA), reflects the stark reality that every weekday 46 families are told that their child has cancer. This year, the Mommas are looking to raise $1 million for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation’s childhood cancer research programs, raise awareness, collaborate with other childhood cancer organizations and inspire a movement. Although we haven’t beat cancer yet, groups like the 46 Mommas are quite an inspiring force of women, mothers and incredible cancer advocates.
