Camp Stationery

We’re years away from sending kids to sleep-away camp, but we still feel the excitement of moms with older kids. Despite the looming freedom of a few weeks as empty-nesters, most of the parents that send kids to far-flung camps still want to hear from the spawn on occasion. That’s where a cellphone with unlimited talk time might come in handy. Just kidding! Instead we pick these no-fuss camp cards.

‘€œoh my word’€ cards are bright and well-designed–and possibly easy enough to fill out that your sleep-away campers will write home. In keeping with the company’€™s witty voice, kids will appreciate the simplicity and possibly drop you a (life) line.  We suggest pre-stamping and pre-addressing. The set of three cards, fold over camp cards and envelopes ($8) can be found in local stationery stores.

If you are after something a little sweeter, we like this set from Pepper Pot that is tucked inside a folder. The set includes 30 sheets of 5 3/4 in. x 8 1/8 in. writing paper, 15 coordinating envelopes and 1 sheet of camp-related stickers. Just add stamps. Buy on Amazon $18.29 for a pack of two.

Momtrends was not paid for this post. We did get samples.
