Beauty products shouldn’??t harm or wreck havoc on the environment and thankfully they don’??t have to thanks to the numerous brands that focus on sustainability, recycling, and living mindfully. I recently learned about such a brand called EcoTools, a brand from Paris Presents Incorporated, at Chelsea Market for an exciting preview of the re-launch of the brands website (published on April 5th) and their exciting line of eco-friendly products.

EcoTools focuses on earth-friendly bath and beauty products, accessories, cosmetics bags, and travel accessories whose entire collection is made from sustainable resources like bamboo, recycled plastic, steel and aluminum, soybean oil and crushed walnuts. Consumers will not only be able to purchase these innovative products but it is also designed to teach and empower women to learn more about green-focused living. The new site will feature a tips and tutorial section where you can obtain green beauty tips, a blog and a video section where you can learn how to use the products. The site will also focus on a community-based learning experience such as with their ‘??Tools We ‘??Like’? Tuesdays,’?? ‘??Feel Good Fridays’?? that spotlights eco-friendly products, companies and charities, and a ‘??Beauty Inside/Out Summer Contest,’?? a 30-day challenge to look and live your best.

Mama-to-be Alicia Silverstone is also a fan of the product line and even contacted the company to design a line of brushes and cosmetic bags. The line called EcoTools by Alicia Silverstone features a modern and sophisticated take on ‘??going green’?? with a collection of lavender and green bags coupled with some flowers. I had the pleasure to test out the EcoTools 6-Piece Brush Set (includes a large eye brush, an angled crease brush, a petite shading brush, a highlighting brush, a smudge brush and a small travel case with a mirror) and the city-sized Train Case makeup bag. Having really sensitive skin, I was really impressed with the natural brush set. It was really gentle on my skin and didn’??t feel abrasive or rough. I also loved that it was cruelty-free made of recycled materials. The roomy Train Case (made of hemp) was great to house my makeup that was ideal for a day in the city but would also be great for travel with its built-in storage pocket and portable handle.

The company also focuses on several campaigns to raise awareness such as with the ‘??Choose to Live Beautifully’? campaign (www.choosetolivebeautifully.com). Partnered with Recycle Bank, the campaign women are asked to swap in their cosmetic supplies for a coupon for a product from EcoTools. EcoTools also recently joined with 1% For The Planet®, an alliance of businesses committed to leveraging their resources to create a healthier planet. 1% of EcoTools annual sales will be donated to the organization.

With such high-quality earth-friendly products, EcoTools makes it easy for consumers to choose an eco-conscious lifestyle without sacrificing beauty and luxury.
