Designer Tutus for Girls

Fashion is getting more and more interactive. We love the DIY (design it yourself) trend–especially when the kids can get involved. We just discovered Tutu Pour Mon Deux –where girls can dream up clothing and see it come to life. These custom tutus are executed to perfection. When ours arrived there was a gasp of delight, a dash to put it on, a twirl and a curtsy (so much better than a half-hearted “thanks mom”).

French for “Tutu For My Two”, Tutu Pour Mon Deux offers two different styles–tank or long-sleeve tee with a tulle tutu skirt stitched on. Your little girl can customize the top by picking the style, color, patches (think crowns, cupcakes and animals), and accent ribbon. The template is easy to work with–I think a 4 year old could master it quite easily. Take a look at the one our tester created:

Ideal for birthday parties or simply a treat on a rainy day, these tops will soon become a favorite in your girl’s wardrobe. Design, dance, be happy. Items range from $34-38 and are available in sizes 18 months to 6T and are available at www.tutupourmondeux.com

Momtrends was not paid for this post. We did get a sample to spin, twirl and dance in.
